Congratulations to Leah Rupp and the staff of the 2004-2005 Miami Student
for the being a finalist for a national award given to the best college
newspapers.

The Miami Student was named a finalist in the Newspaper Pacemaker Award by
the Associated Collegiate Press. The Student competed with student
newspapers from all over the country for this honor.

The winners of the award will be announced in late October at the ACP
conference in Kansas City.

I'm so proud of you! Great job!
