Oct. 17 is the deadline to apply for money to support research through
Miami's Undergraduate Research Program.

The program's goal is to foster discovery and creativity by encouraging
small-scale independent research projects. Projects must be initiated and
developed by undergrad student applicant(s). Each must also be sponsored
by a faculty member.

Typical awards will be in the range of $150 to $500.
