Students:

The Committee on Student Media Organizations (COSMOs) is in need of TWO
student members, ASAP.

The committee oversees the hiring of leaders (editors, general managers, and
business managers) for student-run media on campus, along with approving
media org budgets. It includes four students and five faculty/staff members.

The committee will begin meeting Tuesday, Jan. 24, from 3:30-5 p.m., and
will likely need to meet each week at that time to complete its business.

Candidates should be students with a strong interest in student-run media --
but should not be currently working for any of them. JRN, COM and other
majors are welcome.

If you have an interest and availability, please be in touch NOW. We lost
one student over break and another yesterday and would like very much to
start the semester with full membership.
