Dear Cindy,

I wanted to let you know that Brad Ricca, an English Department BA Alum, and
my very good friend will be coming to MUH to show his new independent
documentary on Superman.  It has already played at many national film
festivals including Comic Con and has been featured in NPR shows, AFI, The
Christian Science Monitor, BBC Worldwide, and The New York Daily News.
Additionally, he is currently under contract for a book with St. Martin's on
Superman's origins.   If you could, might you forward this announcement on
the list in case some of the Oxford folks are interested in viewing his film
and hearing him speak?  I plan on sending a reminder message next week.  The
event is scheduled for November 5, 2009, 7 pm. MUH Wilks Conference Center.
