EDITOR
Local group of non-daily publications is seeking an editor to direct
8-person newsroom plus manage 3-person copy desk.
Responsibilities include story development, story assignment and editing.
Liaison with public officials. Budgeting of news content and coordination of
page flow for all publications.
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, journalism or
liberal arts preferred, sound news judgment and excellent writing and
editing skills. Two years experience in news reporting with some supervisory
experience.
