Hello!

If you've taken JRN 202 and you still need a class in the journalism major's
"creative" category, you have a rare opportunity to fulfill that requirement
by taking Joe Sampson's public radio capstone course (yes, you can take two
capstones, and yes, one can count as a "creative" course).

That Oxford-based class produces NPR-style radio pieces for Cincinnati
Public Radio (WVXU/WMUB). In the past, stories produced in this class have
been picked by public radio stations across the nation -- so imagine how
cool it would be to say you had a story that was broadcast not just locally
but in a couple of other cities!

If this sounds interesting to you, please e-mail me and we'll force-add you.
I'm sure Joe would also welcome questions about the class.

Thanks, and if you need any help with registration or making sure you will
complete your journalism degree on time, please feel free to sign up for an
appointment with me at http://jrnadvising.acuityscheduling.com.

Cheryl
