The Dow Jones Newspaper Fund editing internship test will be administered
Sunday, Oct. 23, at 6 p.m., here at Miami in 346 Bachelor Hall. This is
the first step -- along with completing a rather lengthy application -- to
winning a spot as a copy editor or sports copy editor for summer 2006. In
the past, Miami students have been very competitive in this national
program.

If you would like to take the test or learn more about the program, please
contact Judi Hetrick ([log in to unmask]).

Dow Jones also offers a separate business reporting internship for
minority students. The reporting test is different from the editing test,
but it also will be offered here if anyone is interested. Again, Judi is
your contact person.

Details from DJNF and links for more info and application forms follow:

postmark deadline is Nov. 1.

application postmark deadline) work as news copy editors at daily
newspapers.
