        A few things to review:
         When you hit the reply button, your messsage is sent to everyone
on the list serve, so if you want to respond to someone personally, please
note their email account.
        Second, I want this to be a listserve that connects our journalism
students to one another and with faculty for information and discussions on
journalism topics.
         For those of you who are wondering how you got on here, your name
was taken from a list provided by the registrar's office, noting you as
journalism/English majors. This is from a report generated for our use as
of Jan. 23.
        We are adding to the list each day. There are 240 of you in the
program and we have about 150 on the serve. If you know of anyone who isn't
on the list, let Kevin Smith or Linda Crider know via personal email and
we'll add that person.
        If you want off the list serve at any time, send either of us a
message saying so and you'll be removed.
        Enjoy the listserve, use it to your advantage and keep it professional.
