Need a little extra money for the Holiday season? Enter the 2008 Howe
Writing Center Contest with the chance to win some of the $2100 in prizes. 

This year's theme is "Religion and Community" and the categories being
accepted include: Creative Writing, Digital Media, Music, Photo, Narrative
Non-Fiction and feature writing, and Research papers and essays. DEADLINE:
Dec 1st.

This writing contest is being sponsored by the Center for American and World
Cultures, the Howe Writing Center, the Howe Writing Initiative, the Office
of International Education, and the Windate Writing Center.
