The Palladium-Item, a small daily Gannett newspaper in Richmond,
Indiana (about 40 minutes north of Oxford on U.S. 27), is looking for
a full-time copy editor to do the final edits on stories, write
headlines and cutlines, and lay out pages. Qualifications: College
degree or equivalent experience; strong design skills; solid
knowledge of newspaper editing standards, including AP Style;
proficiency with Quark XPress layout software (very much like
InDesign); and knowledge of Photoshop. Knowledge of Freehand and
