Make time this week for two terrific programs that deal with
international affairs and journalism:

* News of the Holocaust: Why the Press Didn't Ask," Wednesday, 5
p.m., Benton 144. Laurel Leff, a former journalist who now teaches at
Northeastern University, discovered that reporters for the New York
Times were regularly reporting stories about the victimization of
Jews, only to have their editors soften, underplay or kill their
stories. For more information on this event, visit
www.muohio.edu/cawc.

* Darfar, Sudan, Awareness Week, today through Thursday. Journalist
and journalism educator Crosbey Mwansa will participate in a
discussion about Darfur on Thursday, April 14, at 7 p.m. in Pearson

visit www.wiki.wcp.muohio.edu/page/Darfur for more information on
Sudan Awareness Week.
