Unfortunately, we had NO summer scholars from journalism this year. If you
are a brainiac sophomore this year, consider applying to be a summer
scholar for next summer. It is an AWESOME program and a great chance to do
in-depth research OF YOUR CHOICE!

Also, entries for the English department junior and senior writing awards
are due next week. Entry categories are journalism, critical writing,
fiction and poetry.
The deadline has been extended until 5 pm on Wednesday March 10th because
very few entries have been received so far.  Big dollars involved! You
can't win if you don't play!
A completed application form is required. Forms are available in 356
Bachelor.
