Hello JRN Students,
Looking for two credit hours to round out your 2012 spring semester plans? You could take golf, tennis or underwater basket weaving, but you might also want to consider COM 267 - Practicum in Electronic Media Production.
Students earn two hours non-graded credit AND valuable hands-on live television and web based production experience.
During the upcoming spring semester, the class crew the weekly production of Miami Magazine. The show, produced in partnership with Miami athletics, features our men’s and women’s head basketball coaches as well as men’s hockey coach. Additionally, students will learn to run cameras at live sporting events throughout the semester. These events are streamed live on muredhawks.com
. We will also be producing original non-sports related content for Miami University during the semester.
The class will meet Mondays from 11:00-11:50 a.m.
COM 211 is a prerequisite for this class (or previous electronic media production experience and permission of instructor.)
Questions? Please ask.
