Attention all seniors:

A student-initiated capstone, ENG 477Y, is being offered spring
semester, but it's not available for on-line registration.

The course is titled "Threads of Influence," and eight seniors have
spent the past nine months designing it.

In the capstone, a small group of journalism and political science
students will study the intricate relationships  between newspapers
and their local economies and governments, as well as how each
influences the others. Discussions will be led by newspaper editors
and professors. Students will then conduct independent research on
the Ohio news media outlet of their choice.

(You can only register by force add for this course, which is
incorrectly listed in the English coursebook as ENG 421D)
