Hi everyone,

You've probably seen the signs around campus or received an earlier email
letting you know that we will be meeting at 5:30 MONDAY in the Bachelor
Reading Room (337) to provide detailed information and sign up students for
the Kosova 2009 summer study abroad program.

If you think thIs 8-week program may be for you, then you need to attend
this meeting.

Deadlines loom for finalizing the list of students who will be part of the
group this summer. We plan to take 12-14 students. We have openings
remaining, so you can still apply apply and be accepted. But time is short
now. So, whatever your level of interest -- from curiosity to commitment <
this meeting is very important.

There is a lot of essential information to pass along and discuss about
every aspect of the program, which begins June 1 when we fly to Pristina. We
will talk about the curriculum that is composed of three courses (8 credits)
including an internship at the highly respected KosovaLive news agency, We
will discuss schedules, travel, day-to-day living in Pristina. In addition
to faculty, students from the Kosova 2008 program will be at the meeting to
candidly answer questions about any aspect of the Kosova experience.

There are required forms that need to be filled out and submitted; and I
will begin collecting deposits this week. The deposit will guarantee your
place in the program.

If you have friends who also are interested, please encourage them to come
to the meeting with you.

Prior to the meeting, if you want to look over basic information about the
program including courses and costs, you can find the two-page flier at the
Journalism website
www.units.muohio.edu/journalism/

Just click on the link to the Kosova program. In addition to the basics,
you'll find slideshows with dozens of photos.

Also, the fliers are posted throughout Bachelor, Williams and other halls on
campus.

I hope to see you at the meeting.
