Students:

I am seeking a student to serve on the Committee on Student Media
Organizations for 2012-13. The Committee oversees the hiring of editors,
news directors and business managers for 11 different student-led media
sources on campus. The Committee will meet 2-3 times this semester, then up
to a dozen or more times in the spring, when most of the hiring and budget
matters are considered. Meeting times will be determined by vote of the
Committee members.

If you would like to be considered, please send me a note expressing your
interest. Candidates cannot currently work for any of the 11 COSMOs media
organizations, but should be well-versed in campus media and journalism
overall.
