Hey guys – sorry I have been so MIA lately!  But I just wanted to give you a heads up on what is going on this semester.

Our project: We are going to partner with an international division on campus – I’m in the process of talking to a few different groups but pretty much it’s going to be a “buddy buddy” system where we hang out with international students.  This way, we will get to learn about their culture and they get to learn about American culture.  Also, I feel like we will get a lot more out of this than by doing some random obscure project for an international company.

I’m really excited about this – but in order for it to work everyone really needs to make an effort to be at EVERY meeting.  We are only meeting once or twice a month, but the actual meetings will take up a little more of your time because we will be doing activities.  Please take this seriously – attendance is SO important this semester because now you have someone else (your buddy) counting on you to be there.

Anyway, I’m looking at the first meeting in October (after recruitment).  I want to introduce you to your pals on Tuesday the 6th.  This meeting will be fairly short but please let me know in advance if you cannot be there, or if you cannot dedicate the time to MBE this semester.  I promise I won’t take offense, but I need to know so I don’t buddy you with someone.
