Hey guys

So we are finishing up recruitment and are going to have our first meeting either the first or second week of October... once again for this year's project attendance is the most important thing.  I haven't heard back from any of you saying that you can't do it this semester so now is your last chance!!

Tentative meeting dates: ... keep in mind you will need to set aside 2-3 hours per date... but we are not meeting very often and are doing fun activities

October 13 - First meeting: Meet and Greet
*This is so late because I need to know exactly how many members we have in order to set up our project - I have a meeting finalizing everything the week before.

October 27 - Halloween Party

November 18 - Thanksgiving Dinner

December 8 - Last meeting - some kind of holiday theme?

We will also be doing our annual divisional social and keep in mind that Camp MBE is coming up.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW NOW if you know you have a conflict during any of these times or the following Saturday.

Also...

Just a reminder that MBE is introducing a new accounting division - please let me know if you're interested in running for president / vice president.  I've already gotten a few emails.  Interviews for these positions will occur at the end of the semester during elections.

One last thing: 

We really need three - four members to participate in this event as ambassadors.  Please read below for details and email me if you're interested.  

Keep in mind that stepping up and participating in this looks really good if you are planning on running for anything next year.

Saturday, October 3 – Family Weekend Open House

From 8:30  -  10:30 am:  2-3 students to meet/greet provide directions, distribute agendas

10:30 – 12:00:  14-15 students (11 to “chaperone” 20 minute breakout sessions and to help end programs/move folks to other events from 11-12 am, and 3-4 students to meet/greet and provide directions)
