When I was teaching in higher education, my subject area was the
humanities, and I joined this group to learn about business and
management, so please excuse my naivete. A Pablo Picasso quote found
in another Internet newsgroup applies:

"I am always doing what I can not do, in order that I may learn
     how to do it."

What is the conventional wisdom in colleges and universities
regarding multiple level marketing? There seems to be an increase in
the number of companies using this distribution procedure. Are any
courses on the subject taught in academia?

Thanks.
