Please forgive cross-postings.
 
Thanks to everyone who replied and made contributions to this list of
journals that publish business/management case studies. Here is what I have
compiled from the replies. They are numbered for easy identification.
 
1. The Case Research Journal, published quarterly by North American Case
Research Association (NACRA) with about 8 cases per issue; each case comes
under a "major" category and several sub-categories or secondary areas.
Cases are blind reviewed. Acceptance rate about 20 percent. Cases published
in CRJ are
available for classroom use at no charge.  NACRA membership costs $50 a year
and includes a subscription to the journal. If interested, please write to:

2. The Business Case Journal, published twice (someone else wrote 4 times) a
year by Society for Case Research. Cases are blind reviewed. Acceptance rate
about 25 percent. Cases published in BCJ are available for classroom use at
no charge. Each issue includes about 5 cases on such areas as Human Resource
Management, Strategic Management, etc. 
 
3. Annual Advances in Case Research, published annually by Society for
Case Research. Cases must have been presented at the SCR Annual
Summer Workshop, and successfully revised for submission.  
 
4. The Journal of Applied Case Research, a new journal, published by
Southwestern Case Research Association.
 
5. Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice used to publish cases. (does anyone
who know publishes this?)
 
6. The calls for papers for the International Journal of Organizational
Analysis claim that they publish cases. (does anyone who know publishes this?)
 
7. The Journal of Strategic Information Systems has a Case Editor and they
publish cases from time to time.  (does anyone who know publishes this?)
 
8. The Asian Case Research Journal from Wiley publishes teaching cases from
the Asian region. It is edited by a team from the National University of
Singapore and started this year. Its page is

9. The "Vikalpa", a journal of the Indian Institute of Management at Ahmedabad,
publishes an Indian case study in every quarterly issue and follows them
in the next issue with case analysis by readers. Contact Editor, Vikalpa,

10. New this year among case studies journals is "Case Studies:  Revista 
Brasileira de Management," published bimonthly by IBMEC and marketed by 
Insight Engenharia de Comunicacao e Marketing Ltda, Rua 7 de Setembro, 
71-14 andar, Centro, Rio de Janeiro RJ, CEP 200050-005, Brazil.

The September/October 1997 issue is vol. 1, no. 5, and contains four cases 
on strategic management, five on administration and finance, and one on 
marketing.  The entire journal is in Portuguese.
