SURVEY OF LEADERSHIP EDUCATION, INSTRUCTION & TRAINING
 
In October of 1995 the Center for Creative Leadership and the Jepson
School of Leadership Studies distributed a survey of leadership
education to the presidents of over 3000 colleges and universities.  We
asked these presidents to distribute the survey to those actually doing
the practice of leadership education.  Our goal was to get an accurate
picture of the status of leadership education in the United States.
 
We have gotten a good response, but we suspect that in many cases the
surveys did not "trickle down" to those who were actually running
leadership programs or teaching leadership courses.
 
If you are currently teaching a leadership course or workshop, or
directing a leadership program, in a college or university setting,
and you did NOT receive a copy of this survey, we would very much like
to hear from you so that we can mail you a copy and include your
response in our analysis.
