I am a member of a small human resources team, working in collaboration
with the Office of Academic Affairs to develop and implement education to
help vice presidents and senior administrators at The Ohio State University
enhance leadership capabilities. Topics have been identified via needs
assessment. One of the topics identified is "Dealing with Difficult People."
As you are probably aware, this topic can vary in its focus. Consequently,
our criteria for selecting a person to provide this development experience
include the representativeness of the programs content to University
leadership, and relevant rationale of instructional methods for this
population. If you or someone you know would be interested in and qualifies
for this opportunity, please feel free to contact me for more details.
Ohio State is a comprehensive, national research and teaching university with

university offers more than 10,000 courses ranging from
accounting to zoology. There are nearly 200 undergraduate
majors, more than 100 programs leading to a master's degree and
about 100 doctoral programs. Ohio State also has professional
colleges in medicine, dentistry, optometry, veterinary medicine,
