Do you know...
A local company has just been cut loose from its parent corporation to be on
its own. They no longer will receive support services from their parent.
As an independent business unit they must now go out and find their own
customers (they were a supplier to their owner) and learn how to market.

Do you know of any companies who have had a similar situation or articles
that may have been written about companies in a similar situation? I have a
student who is researching this problem and needs some help.

Would appreciate any information you can supply. Much thanks.
