Question: A manager has three geographically spread teams of engineers. The
 teams
seem to be doing well keeping up with each other on the news, projects, etc. but
 the
manager is seeking ideas on how to get the 3 teams of 6-7 each, to interact more
 and
effectively.

He has several goals: share learning, experiences, help solve problems and cross
boundaries to broaden exposure.

I suggested that he set up an e-mail discussion group and he is going to do
 that. They
have had a number of team exercises when gathered with the whole dept of over
 100 as
well as in smaller groups of 20 something.

Any other ideas for inter-team experiences they can do when together or far
 apart?
