A new feedback instrument for team leaders is under development at
the Center for Creative Leadership and is now available for free
for a limited time. Created by Glenn Hallam and David Campbell in
the Colorado Springs branch of CCL, the Campbell-Hallam Team Leader
Profile contains 100 behavioral items and focuses on the skills and
          practices of the team leader.

The survey is completed by the leader and up to eight members of
his or her team. The leader receives an extensive report showing
how he or she scores in the following areas: Keeping the Team
Informed, Focusing the Team's Energies, Monitoring and Providing
Resources, Building Organizational Support, Building and Utilizing
Team Skills, Building Commitment, Clarifying the Mission,
Coordination the Team's Activities, Managing Conflict, Supporting
Team Members, Learning from the Past, Supporting Innovation,
          Encouraging Feedback, and Rewarding Performance.

The survey is designed as a companion to the Campbell-Hallam Team
Development Survey, which assesses the perceptions of the team
members regarding how the team as a whole is functioning. The Team
Leader Profile, in contrast, provides in depth feedback to the
          leader of the team.

The team leader profile is available for free to organizations that
can provide survey data on ten leaders of teams. A version of the
survey is also being developed for administration over the
          Internet.
