SYNERGY Network at http://metro.turnpike.net/~pflaump is really getting
interactive. Bill gates (open news page) says there will be a free add on so
that people who use the Internet can have a common file and OLE system
between web pages. There has been more talk than reality in public access
and real synergy like on LAN using WINS ( the whole being more than the sum
of the parts ) on the WEB. Now we can post e-mail, take pages as attachments
to e-mail, have a open BBS type page - open first.htm, have public files (
open /document ) have someone in Canada start a file /psycholo, get the web
editor to work (WebEdit) have 1000's of internal and external links to
create a texture and feel of something different. You have to spend enough
time in the system to figure it out. Lets us know what you think and feel.
