Update on VM/CMS ESA Upgrade
 
Our Technical Services staff have decided to split the operating
system upgrade into several steps in order to ensure that VM and
related services will be available no later than 10 a.m. on Saturday,
December 17.  Upgrades to VMSECURE and other software utility programs
prerequisite to the installation of VM/ESA 2.2 will take place on
Saturday morning. SAS version 5.18 will also be removed, leaving the
current version, 6.08, available. The actual operating system upgrade
will be announced at a later date.
 
Clients should see no change in program interfaces.  For further
