Public printing to the Hughes Learning Technologies Lab location from
both MiamiU (the IBM VM/CMS mainframe) and MiaVX1 (the Digital OpenVMS
system) will be discontinued after Monday, May 13th.  MCIS plans to
move both the line printer and the four color 3270 plotter to a more
accessible location and resume services no later than Monday, May 20th.
 
MCIS will post location and service details in system log messages
and in both the system NetNews newsgroups, MU.comp.os.OpenVMS and
MU.comp.os.VM-CMS.
 
Print routing to local microcomputer printers will be unaffected.
 
Please contact the MCIS Help Desk via electronic mail at

or concerns.  MCIS regrets the short notice and any inconvenience
this service distruption may cause.  However, the planning horizon
did not permit earlier notification.
