     The VAXShare MiaVX1 server of the Digital OpenVMS cluster in Oxford was
taken out of service due to a problem reported to Miami Computing & Information
Services (MCIS) at approximately 4:30pm this afternoon (Monday, 26 February
1996).  MCIS Client Services and MCIS Technical Support arew investigating the
problem and will return the VAXShare MiaVX1 server to operation as soon as
possible.  MCIS regrets any inconvenience this unanticipated service outage
may cause our Macintosh / OpenVMS clients.
