Slow? I wouldn't use that to describe it. The POP server seems to be just
outright dead yet again, though interactive login seems to be doing okay
(I'm forced to use it to read my incoming mail :-| ). Last night, vx1 was
crawling for a while, and the night before it was so slow that it was
unusable (it took over ten minutes to do a finger). I can't seem to figure
out why these problems always develop after Kent has long gone home and
won't be around to fix it until morning (though so far it's been fixed
every time by the time my computer starts itself up and checks my mail for
me at 9AM :-).

Kent, is there any indication yet what keeps causing all these problems?

Regards,
Bob
