The MIAVX1 system crashed at around 11:25AM today due to unexpected problems
resulting from software installation.  The system returned to service at
approximately 11:40AM.
 
The system was undergoing software updates to the job scheduler to fix problems
caused by this application over the last several months.  During the final
phases of this software update, the system unexpectedly crashed.
 
MCIS is pursuing this problem with DEC and will relay important information as
it becomes available.
