The machine room, along with much of Oxford, lost power momentarily
this morning at about 12:30 and for about an hour starting
at 3:45am.
 
VM was down until 7am due to hardware problems associated
with the power outage.
 
VMS did not go down.  The Alpha is connected to an Uninterruptible
Power Supply.
 
We regret inconveniences caused by the outage.
