MCIS Networking has scheduled replacement of the network routers
linking the Miami University campuses in Hamilton, Middletown and
Oxford, next Wednesday evening, 10 August 1994, from 7-10pm. During
that time, network services between three campuses will be subject
to intermittent instability and possible sporadic interruption.
The services directly affected will include the following:
* AppleTalk, IPX and TCP/IP connectivity between the three
campuses
* terminal service between the three campuses
* Access to Miami University Libraries services, including
MiamiLINK and Sherlock, from the Middletown and Hamilton
campus
Services which should *not* be affected by the network router
replacement include:
* Telephone service on and between the campuses
* Connectivity to the Bursar system from the campuses
