Problems with SZ on VAX

  I've been trying to use SZ to get some files off the VAX.. however, it
seems that when I'm connected 2400/ARQ/LAPM/V42BIS with my HST on the 9600
lines (9-4999), it only works for about 5-20k of the file, and I get
'subpacket too long' errors in Zmodem
 
  SOMETIMES calling 9-6114 at 2400 with no compresion or correction it will
work..
 
  Even trying to TYPE files stops after about 5-20k
 
  Any suggestions?
