The Alpha will be unavailable on Wednesday, May 3, from 5:00 am, until 8:00 am,
to replace a bad disk drive.
 
This disk drive is one of the new ones that was recently installed.  DEC has
informed us that this drive should be replaced as soon as possible.
 
We are sorry for the short notice, but it is unavoidable.
