First year Miami University students -- freshmen, new transfer students, and
new graduate students -- will become visible in the electronic Directory
(PHonebook) later today, 1 October.
 
Each year Miami University shields the data of first year students until
October 1st to allow new students time to exclude themselves from publication
in both the print and electronic editions of the Directory, if they wish.
 
First year students should have become visible first thing this morning, but
the program that generates the electronic Directory (PHonebook) data ran before
midnight (i.e., on 30 September rather than 1 October).  The program is being
run again now (approx 9:30am) and should be complete by mid to late afternoon.
