The last couple of days, MiaVX1 has been slow in responding to connection
requests. When Eudora checks mail, whereas it used to do it so fast I could
barely make out the dialog being drawn, it now takes around 6-10 seconds
for the connection to open (waiting for the server to respond), and another
3-5 seconds for the PASS command to complete. Similar results with www...
before, my home page and other Miami pages came up almost instantly; now
the initial connection takes several seconds to be made.
Is there anything wrong that would explain this annoying performance lag?
It doesn't happen every time I make a connection, probably 4/5 the time
though.
BTW, when I checked the directory containing Kent's news article graph, I
found several other interesting graphs. Where is the link to this kind of
stuff on Miami's pages? I guess I could actually go and look in the obvious
spots before I ask, but I'm already here.... :-)
Regards,
Bob
