Since one of the biggest problems with pine on the VAX is that it register
dumps at exactly the worst time if a users quota is exceeded, would it be
possible to include a little command upon typing pine that would automatically
check the user's quota (since it appears that typing pine runs a batch program
of some type to display the warning)?

If so, a nice message explaining that the user has exceeded his/her quota and
how to fix it would be really nice. (Of course, if it automatically removed
temp files and compressed the mail file, that'd be even nicer)
