Miami Computing & Information Services (MCIS) has recently discovered
an error in its login sequence for users of the Digital OpenVMS cluster in
Oxford (MiaVX1).  This error is ignored by most terminal emulators.  In the
course of testing a new terminal emulation program for possible future use
at Miami, MCIS Technical Support has discovered the new emulator does *not*
ignore this error.
 
     MCIS will correct its MiaVX1 login sequence Monday morning, 8 April 1996,
at 8am.  While MCIS expects no apparent change to our current clients, this
notice is intended to keep clients informed in the event unanticipated
anomalies are encountered.
