In the last 2 days, we have experienced system problems on the MIAVX1
system.  These are documented below:
 
At approximately 3:05 PM, on Monday, November 14, 1994, we experienced
extremely high paging rates on the system.  These extremely high paging
rates lasted for approximately 5 minutes after which, the system returned
to normal.  During this time, the system may have logged some people off
while refusing logins for others.
 
At around midnight on Monday, November 14, 1994, the system "hung".  After
investigating the problem somewhat, the system returned to service at
approximately 7:15 AM.
 
MCIS is currently investigating both problems.  It is not clear at this
time if the two problems were related.  Please watch this newsgroup for
more information as it becomes available.
