Miami Computing & Information Services (MCIS) Technical Support has added two
file management utilities to the Digital OpenVMS cluster in Oxford (MiaVX1) to
aid in the creation and deletion of directories within individual user
accounts.

The command MKDIR, issued at the $ command prompt, makes a new directory within
the user's current working directory. For more information and examples, issue
the command HELP MKDIR at the $ prompt.

The command RMDIR, issued at the $ command prompt, removes an existing
directory within the user's current working directory. For more information
and examples, issue the command HELP RMDIR at the $ prompt.
