News wasn't broken...just delayed.  We've got a bug in our job scheduling
program on OCEAN that DEC is checking into.  We know how to repair the
damage that the bug causes, we just don't know what's causing it.
 
Anyway, the bug occurred over the weekend, and I repaired it this morning
so NEWS is again processing messages.
 
Sorry about the delay.
