VAXshare problems & MiaVX1 reboot

     The centrally managed, multiuser Digital OpenVMS system in Oxford,
MiaVX1, will be unavailable tomorrow morning, Saturday, 3 June, from 6am
until approximately 7am, for an emergency reboot to restore VAXshare
service.
 
     VAXshare allows users of directly network-connected Macintosh and
Novell-connected DOS Windows computers to mount their MiaVX1 account as a
volume on their desktop machine (through use of the one-time MacSetUp and
NovellSetUp commands).
 
     MCIS regrets any inconvenience tomorrow morning's service interruption
or this afternoon's problems with VAXshare may cause.
