This seems like the wrong approach. Setting this up on an application by
application basis could get tedious.
How about this. What if we add a qualifier to the ACQUIRE command that
will set this up automatically. For example,
$ ACQUIRE/SCRATCH 50000
or...what if it just set up this definition by default?
Any comments?
