I *think* we're more or less caught up with requests to carry
new USENET NetNews newsgroups.
 
     Kent Covert regularly updates the MiaVX1 (VMS) master newsgroup
list against the global lists published regularly on the net.  Steve
Moore does likewise for MiamiU (VM) and will shortly be adding a large
block of alt.* hierarchy newsgroups not previously available in NetNews
on VM.
 
     The following recently requested newsgroups are now available on
all OpenVMS systems (MiaVX3 in Middletown, MiaVX2 in Hamilton, and
MiaVX1 in Oxford) and will be available shortly on the VM/CMS system
(MiamiU):
 
          alt.alien.visitors
          alt.fan.mike-jittlov
          alt.law-enforcement
          alt.personals.spanking
          alt.tv.highlander
          alt.tv.robotech
          soc.religion.quaker
