The interactive component (SEA) of the MiaVX1 cluster was unavailable
between around 3:00pm and 4:15pm on Monday, March 31, 1997.  The cause
appears to be similar to other problems we've had with the system earlier
this semester.
 
MCIS and DEC have been working on trying to discover the cause of the
problem but have not come to any conclusive cause yet.  The last time this
problem happened, we began collecting additional performance information.
DEC is hoping that this will aid in diagnosing this problem.  I will be
working with Digital today to try to resolve this problem.
