Sounds good to me! My little program, though a bit flawed, works pretty
well, but the easier the better!
 
I think it would be better just to have it do it by default, since I can't
think of any reason not to do so. Changing the scratch location doesn't
affect anything very much. Perhaps you could have a qualifier that
*prevents* it from changing the scratch location?
