The entire Digital OpenVMS cluster in Oxford (MiaVX1, and components Ocean, Sea
and Stream) will be unavailable tomorrow morning, Saturday, 16 August 1997,
from approximately 8am until approximately 12 noon for system maintenance.
 
The following network services will be unavailable for the duration of the
outage:
 
   *  Batch processes, including Gaus
 
   *  Directory (PHonebook)
 
      a/k/a ph.muohio.edu
 
      Including searching, and incoming mail redirection to
      [log in to unmask] addresses -- mail will be spooled for later
      delivery, not lost or returned to sender.
 
   *  Electronic mail via POP / IMAP
 
      a/k/a po.muohio.edu
 
      Incoming e-mail will be spooled for later delivery
 
   *  HelpDesk Target software
 
   *  NetNews
 
      a/k/a nntp.muohio.edu
 
      All newsgroup reading and posting access
 
   *  World Wide Web
 
      a/k/a www.muohio.edu
 
      All central World Wide Web services
