I'd urge users to also give Kermit another try.  With the new version of
Kermit, I've seen transfer rates of up to 1800 CPS through the 14.4 modems.
 
BTW, the current plans call for the MIAVX1 lines to point to the Alpha when
the Alpha becomes production in May.
