Please excuse a question from a VMS novice here. I have started using my
MiaVX1 account for incoming list traffic. I have several folders, some
of which have accumulated a number of postings. I ultimately wish to
get them into text files on my own hard drive. Looking at the introductory
literature, I gather that I can use the extract command to do this
with individual files. Is there a way I can use the extract command
to get the entire contents of a mail folder into DCL files on a folder
on the directory I get from the $ prompt.

Also, assuming I get by this hurdle, is there some way other than Fetch
to get these files to my Mac?(Localtalk connection, BSY Telnet emmulator)
i.e., something like rmac/wmac on the IBM mainframe?

Thanks--Chuck Burks
